The artwork depicts a cat which couches on a floating platform in a silently lurking way. Its eyes stare keenly at the swimming fish at the front side beneath the water. With the cat’s outstretched paw, the protagonist’s feline and the underwater fish create a tense hunting dynamic. The artwork presents its complete volume with segmented slices. Apart from the overall shape, it fixes the LED strips at the seams of the cutting surfaces. The underwater fish is crafted from transparent resin. Through the refraction of light and shadows on the water and the illumination of night lights, the viewers offer diverse visual experiences during the day and night.
