The artwork “Assemblage” is an installation of a wind-driven mechanical device. It combines the wind, symbolising freedom, change, and the flow of life, with the river representing continuity, stability, and nurturing energy. The Yuejin Harbour’s wind by the riverside and the shimmering ripples on the river flow together into one between interspaces of the artwork. It integrates the natural elements of wind, river, and light effects into a distinctive dynamic aesthetic for Yuejin Harbour. Further, it echoes a harmonious mutualism of the natural environment—symbiosis and complementarity, a convergence and coexistence.
