“Spatial Theater #5 – Guyue” marks the fifth installation in the series and will be launched at the 2024 Yuejin Lantern Festival. The creation locates on Guyue Bridge, a prime entrance connected the festival to Yanshui. The artist team sets spotlights with stands fixed under the centre of the bridge arch. The artwork emits light beams towards each side of the riverbank, like the aircraft wings. Besides, accompanied by unique on-site soundscapes, the setup allows viewers to experience from different perspectives. From an overview perspective, the artist aims to transform this bridge into a colossal spacecraft, guiding Yanshui to fly freely in a newfound world.
