創作理念 Design concept
漢．秦嘉〈贈婦詩〉：「飄飄帷帳，熒熒華燭。」
熒熒，光豔閃動的樣子。
『熒熒微光』融合鹽水『八角樓』的幾個重要建築特色於作品中：如八角形體的結構、典雅木質窗花、與樓廳內祭祀祖先用的『頂、下桌』經典木工手法『茄苳入石榴』的雙材質特色來構成作品『面』的表現。希望透過熒熒光影，映照出八角樓的百年風華與優雅。
In the Chinese poem “To Women” by Qin Jia, it is written, “Floating curtains, glowing candles.”
熒熒refers to the appearance of glowing and shining brightly.“Shimmer” has embraced the characteristic elements of the important landmark “Octagonal Tower” in Yanshui Dist. This installation applied three octagonal wooden window grilles as the main geometric surface on them. Furthermore, the surface design adopted from the Taiwanese classic woodworking technique（ka-tang li̍p tsio̍h-liú）on it to interpret the exquisite beauty and luxury of this ancient building.
