The concept of the artwork originates from the underwater world. Along the riverside of Yuejin Harbour, viewers imagine beneath the water that there is another whole new world of themselves, as though the world is unveiled by nocturnal optical illusions to reveal a shimmering river beneath. The light source below the artwork indicates akin to personified breath, as if the river is breathing, ebbing and flowing. The undulation of the light stream suggests the infinite vitality in the underwater world. Light exists within the river as well as on reasoning in light.
