月之美術館年度特展‧2023漫月美行動〈愛呀〉

The century-old Yanshui town contains the energy of culture, creative teams from all over the world bring power of imagination to here, people meet each other here and keep this place running. These accumulated energies come from people from different time dimensions , things operated and happened here. From space renovations, exhibitions, performances, experimental, co-creations with residents, cooperating with local stores to hold a bingo game “Link-us”, etc., the continuous accumulation brings some shared memories to this generation. The key point of activating these energies is “Love”. Love, as a verb, adjective, and noun, flows and expands in the relationships between people, things, places in different aspects and postures. As an irreversible chemical reaction unfolded, time circulating, lives intertwining, eventually we gathered together. The energy of love, as light, converged and diverged in this generous land. The pronunciation of “愛呀” sounds like “āiyá”, a interjection in Chinese to express surprise. Chinese people seems not good at expressing with words, therefore we use homophonic words to implicitly express “This is all because of… Love!!” .
