在遙遠的新世界，廣大的河流貫穿了地表，水路成為人類主要通行方式，在某一個地區，有一對男女戀人被迫分隔兩地，兩人為了保持不中斷的聯繫，男孩運用自家的鐵料、生活器具打造的機械蜻蜓，讓蜻蜓載著物資以及思念，飛翔在廣大的河面上，照亮黑夜寧靜的世界，而蜻蜓點水的漣漪，正在一點一點傳遞著即將到來的愛人，也讓這廣大的新世界擁有一絲溫暖的故事。
In a faraway new world, vast rivers crossed the land. Waterways were the main mode of transportation. A love couple had to live far apart. To stay in touch, the boy made some mechanical dragonflies with scrap metal. These dragonflies carried supplies and messages of love across the vast river, illuminating the quiet nights and creating gentle ripples on the water. They were like a message promising the lover's soon return, bringing a little warmth and hope to this vast new world.
