The Reflection of the Flower

作品以花造型為出發，運用鐵條與LED燈條製造出一朵巨大線性結構的花朵意象，透過重疊與漸變來表現虛實的畫面，表現鹽水在過去繁華與現在沒落中相互交疊的狀態；藉由水倒映出完整花的樣子，就像月津港在不同時代依水而生，在各自的文化脈絡上創造全新的月津港樣貌。

This artwork is made of iron bars and LED lights which are twisted and constructed into a giant flower shape, half appearing above the water. When the artwork is lit up, the lights shine and fade out in different speed, creating multilayers. In addition to it, the reflection from the water completes the structure into an entire flower light. The design and arrangement of the lights imply the rise and decline of Yuejin Port. The half rising flower above water also symbolizes that the affluence of Yuejin Port was bred by the water, hoping this cultural site can transform and rise from the water again.
